Viva Houston Media is a leading media organization dedicated to showcasing the vibrant and diverse culture of Houston. Through our weekly podcast, we bring together the worlds of sports, food, events, and the Houston lifestyle. We are passionate about sharing stories, engaging discussions, and promoting local talent and businesses in the Houston community.
We are currently looking to hire a partime Podcast Producer with experience in the podcast space. This team member will work alongside the production team to help record once a week with various talent/hosts. The office and studio are located in Fuse Studios (city centre)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Host the Viva Houston podcast once a week, leading discussions on sports, food, events, and the Houston lifestyle.
- Conduct insightful and engaging interviews with guests, including athletes, chefs, local influencers, and other prominent figures in the Houston community.
- Research and prepare content for each episode, ensuring it aligns with the podcast's focus and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop episode themes, segments, and storylines.
- Maintain a strong presence on social media platforms to promote the podcast, engage with the audience, and attract new listeners.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, news, and developments in sports, food, events, and the Houston lifestyle to deliver relevant and captivating content.
- Attend relevant events and activities in the Houston area to gather content, conduct interviews, and represent Viva Houston
